چکیده

The problem of designing Spread Spectrum radar detection filters that minimize sidelobe levels in both Doppler and range co-ordinates is considered and a new algorithm for the Doppler optimized mismatched filter is presented. The Iterative Reweighted Least Square procedure for minimax filter coefficients calculation is applied. A special attention has been paid to the analysis of Code Division Multiple Access Spread Spectrum Communication systems. The computer simulation results obtained show that sidelobe levels rejection using a new algorithm is very high, both for aperiodical and periodical sequences.

Nonstationary electroosmotic flow in open cylindrical capillaries.

A theoretical model of the EOF established in a wide capillary after the application of a stepwise voltage has been developed. Both periodical and aperiodical flow regimes were studied with arbitrary pulse/pulse or pulse/pause durations and amplitudes. The numerical analysis performed for a few types of periodical regimes showed the peculiarities of the profiles of liquid velocity and its displ...

Nonstationary electroosmotic flow in closed cylindrical capillaries.

A theoretical model of the EOF and hydrodynamic flow in wide closed cylindrical capillaries, after the application of a stepwise voltage, is developed. Analytical expressions have been obtained as a sum of the solutions for the direct flow and backflow in both periodical and aperiodical regimes with arbitrary pulse/pulse or pulse/pause durations and amplitudes. The numerical analysis, performed...

Extending the Radar Dynamic Range using Adaptive Pulse Compression

The matched filter in the radar receiver is only adapted to the transmitted signal version and its output will be wasted due to non-matching with the received signal from the environment. The sidelobes amplitude of the matched filter output in pulse compression radars are dependent on the transmitted coded waveforms that extended as much as the length of the code on both sides of the target loc...
